Position: Senior Residential & Facilities Manager
The Role at a Glance: This is a very unique leadership position that plays a key role both within our Streetcar Developments and Archive Hospitality properties.You will engage and inspire a team, develop processes and ensure we are providing the utmost in customer care.
You will drive our operations strategy with respect to overseeing our brand new residential condo properties from occupancy throughout the various stages of warranty and performance audits. This role will also play a huge part in liaising and managing facilities operations for our boutique hotel properties.
Your Day To Day Duties:
Operations:
- Responsible for administrative and operational responsibilities to ensure required audits and verifications are carried out according to company policies
- Establish and enforce site processes
- Strong understanding of the application of multiple trades and managing renovations, upgrade and repair projects
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with purchasers, staff, trades, construction and suppliers
- Experience with high-level, analytical reporting and presentations related to both new and recurring maintenance costs
- Design and regulation of preventative maintenance needs on a portfolio/multi-building basis
- Participate in project planning/construction meetings; offer insight into selected materials from a customer service perspective
- Be a liaison with Tarion New Home Warranty Corporation, Property Management and Condo Boards when necessary
- Act as escalation point in Customer inquiries/troubleshooting with regards to PDI lists, 30 day lists, 12 month inspection and two year inspection lists. Work with team to address issues immediately
Leadership:
- Review and implement best practices processes and procedures on all administrative and operational activities within the department
- Monitor and manage performance by setting and regularly reviewing departmental and individual goals with your team
- Lead a team of Customer Care Specialists and Facilities maintenance that operate at head office and on our hotel properties
- Management of personnel and equipment resources
- Ensure effective scheduling of resources to respond to Customer Care service volumes
You have:
- Completion of post-secondary degree in a related field of study
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in conflict and other situations that may require tact, diplomacy and discretion
- Minimum 5+ years residential condominium experience in a senior leadership level role focused on technical and customer service management
- Understanding building codes, safety guidelines and regulations
- Strong negotiating skills to reconcile differences with purchaser; trades; construction and staff
- Superior knowledge of warrantable issues and Tarion Warranty Guidelines
- Knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and models
- Strong understanding of the application of multiple trades and managing renovations, upgrades and repair projects
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, use, repair and operation
- Experience creating and maintaining project reports
