Job Posting Description:
This position is hybrid
Contract: Up to 9 Months
Are you a strategic, analytical, and creative thinker? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising, you will effectively plan and execute a variety of marketing initiatives in support of LCBO’s key strategic objectives. You will work with the Marketing and Retail Field Teams, along with industry partners including print, install and warehouse vendors to deliver key operational support in our retail stores. You’ll be instrumental in building and activating effective operational signage, monitoring execution, reporting results, and making recommendations to optimize future plans.

About The Role
  • Write project briefs, prepare presentations and communication materials.
  • Collaborate with external print vendor partners on site surveys and installation of New Store Opening and Renovation Signage Package. Manage all promotional and operational sign packages for New Stores.
  • Collaborate with functional areas within the CMDO, CRO and Retail Field Teams to ensure messaging and design is consistent across LCBO channels.
  • Write detailed production details for projects for internal and external teams, indicating all project specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to review material stock usage for cost, environmental savings, durability of signs and exploration of new signage designs.
  • Manage project timelines, negotiate costs, and track spending against budget.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and goals for signage programs.
  • Analyze project scope requirements and develop project plans for a variety of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of several operational signage programs, including support and recommendations for a variety of ad-hoc business initiatives.
  • Facilitate project flow relative to established critical paths and corrects flow as necessary to ensure seamless and timely end-to-end execution.
  • Manage creative for all operational signage and updates to the New Brand Standards and industry trends and ensuring all customer-facing communications comply with French language, accessibility regulations and health and safety standards.
About You
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and delegation skills to handle a large volume of projects involving multiple stakeholders and the ability to deal with conflicting demands to meet tight deadlines.
  • Superior writing skills and an eye for detail and creative.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to forge strong working relationships and co-operation among peers within the Marketing team and across divisional groups.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles, art direction and print production.
  • Experience with a personal computer and software applications including Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing projects management acquired through a combination of experience in a marketing and retail environment, and related post-secondary education.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of the print production process.
