GHD Digital is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a Consultant – Digital Strategy and Innovation, to work out of any of our offices in Mississauga, Toronto, Waterloo, or Whitby. As an aspiring leader in GHD Digital’s D-Lab practice (management consulting practice focused on Digital Strategy and Innovation), you will contribute to the success of the business by working directly with our clients and delivering impactful projects.

Working with an upbeat and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Advise and support Senior Leaders on issues to increase the value that Digital / Technology delivers within their organization, and help them overcome strategic challenges, transform, and innovate.
• Identify profit opportunities, think creatively and deliver valuable strategic program / project insights to business partners.
• Keep up to date with local, national, and global business and economic issues.
• Experience with technology procurement, sourcing, and outsourcing
• Contribute to all aspects of building a practice though business development, client & community engagement with a focus on building GHD Digital’s brand.
• Contribute to the development of your own and your team’s technical acumen.
• Work as team to tackle Digital / Technology problems, helping our clients address their sophisticated business issues from strategy to execution.

What you will bring to the team (what they possess):

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology / IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field – graduate degree is an asset.
• Experience serving Public Sector, Water, Energy, or Food and Agriculture / Manufacturing is a plus.
• A passion for helping clients solve some of the most pressing challenges of our time through the adoption of technology and emerging solutions.
• Knowledge of or experience with Innovation Management, Human Centered Design, and Strategic Change and Culture is an asset.
• Experience with modern technologies (e.g., Cloud, Data / Analytics, ERP, IOT) and their applications in the business world and various industries.
• 5-8 years of consulting experience in a leading professional services firm, or 10 or more years of experience in Digital / Technology or IT roles
