Senior It Financial Analyst

MONTREAL OR ANYWHERE IN A MAJOR CANADIAN METROPOLITAIN AREA

WSP Canada is currently seeking a IT Financial Analyst for our Corporate IT department team located at our Montreal main office (other locations in Canada can also be considered).

Reporting into our CIO , this position will be responsible for supporting corporate IT initiatives

Responsabilities

• Perform specifics analysis (Cost analysis, trends, cost optimization, variances)
• Oversees process optimization for financial IT processes.
• Manage and oversee IT budgets process (Capex and Opex).
• Financial forecasting for subsequent year
• Institute suitable financial management practices by improving current processes
• Automate and simplify processes in efficient manner.
• Validate monthly financial reports.
• Cost structure analysis in order to support IT strategic decision and cost savings initiatives.
• Invoice verification & analysis

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• Finance knowledge
• Experience developing budgets, forecasts, and effectively monitoring them.
• Working knowledge of English and French would be a key asset.
• Bachelor’s degree with strong Financial background and knowledge of IT cost drivers.
• Asset: Tangible experience with financial process automation
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excel (Pivot – And other MS Tools)
• Process improvement (continuous improvement approach)
• Experience in digital/business transformation – Process optimization.
• 10+ years of experience in financial processes / 7+ years of experience in IT processes.
• Collaborative mindset
