As the Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A – Corporate, you will play a key role in the FP&A function, supporting Corporate Functions and Capital Planning. You will lead and deliver reporting and analysis to support key and strategic decision making across Arc’teryx for both operational and capital projects. Meet Your Future Team:

The FP&A team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future performance and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis, and KPI tracking, the team advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

If you were the Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

• Performing ad-hoc reporting and project work as required.
• Supporting the reporting team with board and business review presentations
• Supporting other Finance functions in the creation of controls and processes surrounding capital spend
• Developing financial models and dashboards to support corporate capital investment planning and reporting
• Driving implementation of change to increase stakeholder ownership of operational spend
• Maintaining a process improvement mindset leading the evolution of FP&A processes
• Being the key strategic partner supporting budgeting cycles, including methodology and templates
• Capturing and monitoring risks and opportunities across the business in partnership with other FP&A functions
• Coordinating budgeting process deliverables and data consolidation and reporting

Are you our next Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate?

• You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools.
• You have experience managing large capital investments and data consolidation and reporting.
• You have experience with capital investments and reporting.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent and ideally have your CPA, CMA, CA, CFA, or MBA.
• You have exceptional attention to detail.
• You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools.
• You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
• You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
• You can balance autonomy and collaboration.
• You can lead and drive change with little supervision.
• Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.
• You have 5+ years proven experience in an Accounting, Financial Analyst, or equivalent role.
• You can coordinate and lead projects to completion.
• You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
• You have experience in project management.
• You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
