About Our Client
Our client is an international company, that designs, manufactures, and distributes packaging solutions.

• Labour, headcount, and efficiency analysis
• Maintain costing system data to reflect current financial data as per budget and actuals, quarterly reconciliation and analysis
• Quarterly inventory count: ensure inventory guidelines are followed
• Promote, support and maintain all continuous improvement activities related to Finance, Operations as well as the business as a whole
• Review and check Expense claims according to policy
• Compile, analyze, and distribute financial and operational KPI's
• Freight & delivery analysis, trend analysis, and cost-saving opportunities
• Preparation of the monthly P&L notes
• Meaningful and Relevant Variance analysis; preparation of cost bridges
• Interim and Year-End Audit requests
• Annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting
• Month-end accounting, preparation of journal entries & financial reporting
• Work closely with GM, Ops Manager, acting as a key business partner and providing insights and analysis of job profitability and associated costs

The Successful Applicant

• Capable of adapting to change
• CPA or progress towards it is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and can build solid working relationships with all stakeholders
• Deadline-focused with proven ability to meet prioritize in order to meet all deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in manufacturing ERP system
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
• +5 years of accounting and financial experience, within a manufacturing/Plant environment
• Shows initiative with the ability to multi-task with good organizational skills
• Detailed oriented with an ability to analyze numbers and data in terms of their impact on the business and plant operations
• Able to work independently and use sound judgement
