Corporate Accountant Jobs

On behalf our client, a well-respected and established professional services firm, currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Corporate Accountant to join their dedicated team. In this position, you will leverage your accounting experience in order to produce top-tier results and excellent client service. As the ideal candidate, you are process-oriented with a “can-do” attitude, possess exemplary communication skills, and are looking to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Location: North/West Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

• Support with additional accounting related projects, as required by Management
• Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders and communicating with respective parties on progress and status updates
• Apply relevant accounting practices and ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations
• Review documentation for accuracy of ledgers, and banking records, reconciliations, reports and apply necessary adjustments
• Adhere to the Firm’s best practices, policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and client files
• Complete full-cycle accounting tasks – inclusive of preparation of financial statements, GST reconciliation, journal entries, corporate tax payments, and bank reconciliations for multiple entities
• Preparation of financial documents for audit purposes

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and QuickBooks accounting software
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities in a day
• Managing sensitive and confidential details with utmost discretion
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and keen desire for professional learning
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Have a superb eye for detail and accuracy
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Exceptional organizational, time management and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Be able to work autonomously and in collaboration with a team
