Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Junior Accountant will support the finance team with the execution and maintenance of payroll, the preparation of financial reports, updating of financial statements and the maintenance of accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Other duties as assigned
• Updating Financial Data in various platforms / databases to ensure accuracy of information.
• Assisting with monthly billing
• Assisting with payroll
• Assisting the Manager of Finance with period end closings
• Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with payroll preferred
• Experience with Accounts payable and receivable preferred
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and environments
• Bachelor of Commerce (in Accounting) or 3+ years as a Bookkeeper or a similar roll
• Moderate skills with Excel
