Staff Accountant Jobs

Description

Our Burnaby based client is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days in office for training and then 1-2 days in office after training. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, advanced technical and critical thinking skills and a desire to learn.

Duties

• Working papers
• Inventory
• Accounts Receivable (revenue recognition, process invoices, Accounts Receivable reconciliations and more)
• Ad hoc analysis, projects and reports

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Fast-learner / technical / critical thinker
• Excel Pivot tables and V Lookups
• Experience with an ERP system is an asset
• Pursuing designation
• Must be able to travel to Ottawa for 1 week a few times a year
• A minimum of 1 year of industry/public practice full-cycle accounting experience
