Our Vancouver hospitality and real estate client is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their growing hospitality group! Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Corporate Accountant will spend a significant amount of their time focused on the month end reporting package, income sheet reconciliations and review work. Duties also include monthly and year-end account reconciliations, maintaining depreciation schedules, liaising with external auditors and preparing year-end working papers, budgeting and forecasting and creating efficiencies/internal controls. This is a growth oriented role, so not suitable for any wall flowers!

Requirements

The successful Senior Accountant will be a recently designated CPA or be close to designated and have 3 years of audit experience from public practice or 5 years from industry. You thrive in a fast paced environment and crave the opportunity to help make process improvements, streamline processes and lead junior accountants. You have excellent communication skills and aren't afraid of hard work. Systems or implementation experience would be a real asset as well. If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today!
