Description
There is an urgent need for a Senior Bookkeeper/ Office Manager with our Southside NPO Client. They are looking for a well rounded Senior Bookkeeper/ Office Manager to handle day to day full cycle accounting and HR related administrative tasks.   • Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
  • Manage Accounts Payable
  • NPO experience consider a huge asset
  • T-4s, T-4As, and Revenue Canada, GST and WCB filing
  • Onboarding, employee file maintenance, assisting with recruitment
  • Payroll experience; under 50 employees
  • Create cash flow projections, as needed
  • RRSP administration
  • Conduct monthly accounting close
  • Other special projects as requested
  • Full cycle accounting
  • Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable
Requirements
  • Well-founded grasp of Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Quality experience with Monthly Expense
  • Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • General familiarity with GST
  • 3+ years of full cycle accounting r experience
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in accounting with a minimum of three years experience in full cycle accounting
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Budget forecasting experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Practical knowledge of Lodging Expenses
  • Payroll for under 100 employees experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, changing and culturally sensitive environment
  • Non-profit fund accounting experience
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks desktop is required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Bank reconciliations experience highly desired
  • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
  • Proven knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
