Job Summary
Assist the Corporate Compliance Managers in ensuring WSIB’s Enterprise Compliance Program is implemented and effectively managed. Assist in the development, implementation and administration of corporate compliance programs. Provide technical expertise, advice and leadership to various WSIB business areas on potential risks, and determine how to avoid, reduce and/or transfer identified risks.
Major Responsibilities
Assist in the development and ongoing administration of the WSIB’s Enterprise Compliance Program:
Provide ongoing analytics support to the Corporate Compliance Division through the preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports.
Support engagement with business areas through the planning and implementation of Compliance training and education across the organization.

Job Summary

- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of tools and key performance indicators for identifying, logging, quantifying and reporting compliance risks
- Provide leadership and support to all the relevant business areas and the Corporate Compliance Division users of the Tool.
- Assist in the planning and execution of risk identification and assessment workshops with business areas to identify and prioritize compliance risks and assess the effectiveness of controls
- Assist the Corporate Compliance Managers in executing the Enterprise Compliance Program for assigned portfolio of business areas, which include completion of risk assessments, monitoring and testing programs and compliance issues management.
- Assist in the identification and monitoring of actions to strengthen compliance controls
- Oversee and execute key change management activities related to the maintenance and support of the Tool.
Provide ongoing analytics support to the Corporate Compliance Division through the preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports.
- Maintain and assist in systematizing relevant risk information
- Assist in tracking key risk indicators to monitor trends in organization’s risk profile
- Present information to the Assistant Director, Corporate Compliance for consideration
- Assist in the identification and monitoring of criminal risk to identify internal fraud activities and support the development of appropriate remediation plans
Support engagement with business areas through the planning and implementation of Compliance training and education across the organization.
- Assist in development and facilitation of training workshops with business areas as requested/required
- Identify and prioritize risks
- Completion of a College Diploma in Business, Finance or Economics minimum.
- Completion of an Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred.
- Administer the conflicts of interest process within Corporate Compliance at WSIB Document and analyze relevant conflicts of interest scenarios and develop recommendations for action
- Education requirements:
- Strong preference for the LL.B; or J.D. (Juris Doctor) license in good standing; CFE, or CPA, CA or CIA is preferred
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge and understanding of a compliance program, regulatory requirements and business strategy
