Who You Are
In this unique and exciting role you will be supporting Royal Bank Plaza - This requires you to be a professional property accounting professional with experience of supporting Class A properties and have a history of leading successful accounting teams. You thrive on working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for your assigned properties. You identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements. You also flourish with sharing your knowledge and participate in training for new accountants.
What You Bring

• A track record of leading successful accounting teams
• CPA designation or working towards CPA designation.
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry, specifically Class AAA office

Bonus skills and experience

• Fantastic communication and networking skills
• Knowledge of Yardi accounting program
• Post-secondary education in accounting

What Success Looks Like

• Successfully coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow.
• You continuously evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes to seek opportunities for process improvements.
• Successfully complete monthly reporting and also assist and educate Property Manager and internal partners within the business.
