Job Description

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil & Gas clients to seek an Accounting Analyst to join them on a 1-year contract in North York, ON.


Responsibilities

  • Submit change requests from Gas Vendors/Customers to their payment accounts
  • Support Direct purchase (ABC) and Open Bill Program- (OBA) Third Party Vendors and Suppliers
  • Validate monthly client remittances and remittance statements and ensure required approvals are acquired.
  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports as required with regards to ABC/OBA Customers.
  • Perform/prepare ad-hoc analysis, studies, surveys, and reports to support the ABC/OBA Remittances, moth end reporting.
  • Monitor group mailbox and respond to customer inquiries.


Qualifications

  • Results-oriented individual with the ability to investigate, analyze and resolve tasks, problems, issues in an efficient and effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to build cooperative internal and external working relationships.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting or related discipline with 3-5 years of business experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
  • Proven Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e. EXCEL- Intermediate proficiency, WORD, and PowerPoint

  • Familiar with Oracle 12, SAP
