Job Description

Title:Sales Department Head

Location:Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z9, Canada

Job Type:Full Time (WFO – Monday to Friday)Optional: Work as a contractor

Experience: 10+ Years

Hierarchy:Reports directly to Sales VP

Salary:Base - $80K-$100K


Responsibilities:

  • Design/implement sales operations and ensureadherenceby the entire team
  • Understand that each person isacapable individual with unique skill sets and handle challenges/concerns accordingly
  • High commitment to regularly monitoring sales based on company-imposed regulations and goals
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Team development.
  • Owning and hitting/exceedingquarterlysales targets
  • Ability to lead their team, solve any arising problems, and motivate and inspire team members
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Reports to Leadership during daily/weekly meetings
  • Ensuring the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance
  • Effectivelycommunicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Manage a team of senior sales reps and motivate/push them to ensure the team achieves collective target
  • Oversee new employee training and continued training for current employees
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Will be leading both inside and outside sales
  • Responsible for creating and communicating sales goals and ways to achieve those goals
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for actualizing sales targets
  • Building solid and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders

Skills:

  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director
  • Advanced level understanding of CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce Reporting and Dashboards)
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate, present andinfluenceall levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent team management skills
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills to understand data and make decisions accordingly
