Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in promoting and selling the best blast-resistant buildings in the petrochemical industry in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, a deep understanding of the petrochemical sector, and a passion for providing innovative solutions to enhance safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
Market Analysis and Research:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the petrochemical sector.
Analyze customer requirements and feedback to enhance product offerings and tailor solutions to meet client demands.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the petrochemical industry.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and proposing blast-resistant building solutions that address their unique challenges.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential clients.
Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and pricing agreements to ensure successful deal closures.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
Coordinate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns targeting the petrochemical industry.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement of sales strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in the petrochemical industry, with a focus on selling complex solutions or products.
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
In-depth knowledge of blast-resistant building solutions, safety standards, and regulations within the petrochemical sector.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
Ability to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
