About The Role

Reporting

The Apprentice M reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend training courses as directed by company management.
• Ensure that all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.
• Complete required regulatory and company paperwork and ensure that paperwork is up to date and accurate and maintain the integrity of all issued documents.
• Review and be fully familiarized with all aspects of Avmax's Maintenance Policy Manual and General Procedures Manual. Compliance with both manuals' policy and procedures are mandatory.
• Promote company values, visions, and mission.
• Notify Lead Hand of all defects discovered during maintenance.
• Provide regular job status updates and report all defects and work stoppages to the Lead Hang and/or delegate.
• Report unserviceable equipment to the assigned Lead Hand and/or delegate.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Continuous Improvement recommendations.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications on customer aircraft as assigned to them under supervision by a technician or Lead Hand.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
• Possess strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
• Attending or completed a Transport Canada approved AME approved course.

Experience

• Dash-8 and CRJ experience will be an asset.
