Join us as a temporary Insulator from September to November 2023 in Cold Lake. This Local/LOA role offers 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with 2 hours of daily overtime. What would you be doing?  

• Precisely measuring and cutting insulation materials to the specified dimensions using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Expertly fitting vapor barriers in place.
• Applying and fastening insulation through methods such as spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other relevant techniques.
• Crafting metal sheets and expertly applying insulating materials to achieve finished surfaces.
• Skillfully installing insulation around obstacles and within spaces like studs and joists.
• Analyzing blueprints and specifications to ascertain insulation needs and choosing the appropriate insulation material.

Does this sound like you?

• Ensure you possess either a Journeyperson or apprentice Certificate or provide proof of accumulated work hours.
• Demonstrate exceptional manual dexterity, enabling you to effortlessly execute intricate and precise tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date safety certifications for H2S Alive, CSTS, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid, and WHMIS.
• Display the capability to comprehend and follow intricate instructions, while consistently delivering meticulous and precise work.
• Exhibit an innate aptitude for comprehending mechanical systems, proficiently operating machinery, and conducting effective maintenance.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

Perks of the job 

• Rate: $41.00 Per hour
• LOA: $150 Per Day
• Start Time: 7:00 AM to 17:30 PM
• Shift: Monday to Friday (Regular 8 Hours/ Day and OT 2 Hours/day)

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
