About Your New Role
Herschel Supply is seeking a highly motivated and talented Retail Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting brand assets and marketing initiatives across Herschel Supply stores, wholesale partners and distributor run locations. This position requires a keen understanding of retail marketing strategies, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. A DAY-IN-THE-LIFE
Our workplace is dynamic, supportive, and entrepreneurial in spirit, and we pride ourselves on being a collaborative, open-minded, and imaginative team. On a day-to-day basis, the Retail Marketing Specialist will:
  • Market Analysis and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders, offering strategic recommendations for enhancing brand presence and customer experience in stores.
  • Store Communications: Assist in the creation and distribution of internal store communications, including newsletters, product updates, and marketing collateral. Ensure store teams are well-informed about current marketing campaigns, seasonal installs, brand initiatives, and new product launches.
  • Store Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure the consistent execution of brand guidelines and standards across Herschel Supply stores. Assist in the development and implementation of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring the effective presentation of products and driving brand engagement.
  • Retail Marketing Assets: Collaborate with the Creative team to develop and maintain a library of retail marketing assets, including signage, window displays, product displays, and point-of-purchase materials. Regularly update and distribute these assets to Herschel Supply stores, wholesale and distributor partners, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Track and measure the success of retail marketing campaigns in various channels, including in-store promotions, events, and activations. Utilize analytics tools and data sources to collect and analyze relevant metrics, such as foot traffic, sales uplift, customer engagement, and conversion rates. Prepare comprehensive campaign performance reports, highlighting key findings, insights, and actionable recommendations for future improvements. Collaborate with the Marketing team to refine strategies and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights, ultimately driving the effectiveness and ROI of retail marketing initiatives.
  • Store Operations Support: Provide support to store teams by coordinating the procurement and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring adequate stock levels, and managing the inventory of store marketing assets. Address store-specific marketing needs and provide timely solutions to support day-to-day operations.
  • In-Store Marketing Campaigns: Own the planning, execution, and analysis of in-store marketing campaigns. Work closely with the Brand team to develop and implement seasonal campaign assets, promotional initiatives, events, and activations that align with the brand's objectives and resonate with customers.
  • Calendar Management: Take charge of calendar management for retail marketing activities, ensuring effective planning and coordination of campaigns, events, and promotions. Work closely with the Marketing team to maintain an organized schedule, aligning with key milestones, product launches, and seasonal initiatives. Keep track of deadlines, deliverables, and scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth execution of retail marketing initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
  • RFP Process and Budget Management: Own the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for acquiring seasonal retail marketing assets from external vendors. Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts. Monitor and track budgets for retail marketing initiatives, ensuring effective cost management and adherence to budget guidelines. Provide regular reports on budget status and make recommendations for optimizing resource allocation.
About You
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with design software (Adobe CS, Figma) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail marketing role, preferably in the lifestyle or fashion industry.
  • Passion for the Herschel Supply brand and a strong interest in the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and store layout optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license is essential.
  • Proven track record of executing successful retail marketing campaigns and initiatives.
