Job Summary:

Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for an individual who has good customer service skills and solid mechanical aptitude to support our Customer Services team. This is a full-time opportunity and will report to the Manager, Field Warranty. The selected candidate will administer Toyota and Lexus Warranty/ Extra Care Protection (ECP) with dealerships to achieve both customer satisfaction and ensure dealers have consistent profitable processes. Supporting cost neutral warranty business.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Perform onsite and Virtual Warranty Assessments with dealers that have identified as having areas of concern
• Initiates and implements appropriate ‘Kaizen’ which results in work efficiencies related to effect cost control
• Analysis of Warranty and ECP expenditures by dealer.
• Perform appropriate Warranty claim debits where necessary.
• Assist dealerships to develop and implement Standard Operation Procedures and/or guidelines.
• Train Dealers on the Claims Processing System and Warranty/ECP Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure dealerships are fully aware of the guidelines of the Dealer Self Authorization program and that Goodwill expenditures are correctly utilized.
• Ensure dealer staff are accountable and are fully capable of self-analyzing and managing their warranty business.

What You Bring:

• Strong data analytical skills
• College diploma/University degree or relevant automotive business experience or 5 + years’ experience in retail automotive or service operations.
• Overnight travel may be required
• Excellent Microsoft computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual French & English is an asset
• Solid customer service skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
