Hi there! We'reAykah Furniture (www.aykah.ca)and we're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our in-person team!
At Aykah we attribute much of our success to the strength of our marketing division. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified Marketing Coordinator to work closely with us. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
What your day-to-day responsibilities look like:
Digital Marketing:
- Knowledge of leveraging various features within these platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Reels/Stories, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Experience with email marketing platforms to create, send, and track email campaigns.
- Lead content development processes, including developing engaging communications products (e.g., short videos, Pinterest pins, social media content, advertisements etc.) for all social media platforms.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Create Google Analytics reporting and dashboards, evaluating data and drawing actionable conclusions and benchmarks to inform tactics.
- Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or other social media analytics platforms to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient in analyzing marketing metrics and performance data to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Content Creation:
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva to create visually appealing marketing materials.
- Experience in writing clear and persuasive copy for social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, and website content.
- Ability to create engaging and compelling content for different platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Creative Direction:
- Coordinate partnership opportunities, strategies and content with internal and external stakeholders.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
- Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to create and manage social media strategies and content creation for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.
Market Research:
- Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
You have:
- A desire to work in a small business environment and you are okay with taking on diverse responsibilities.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to write captivating on-brand content for all marketing and brand channels.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- 3+ years of experience in progressive marketing roles or responsibilities.
- A desire to collaborate and work towards common business goals, while maintaining responsibility and advocacy for marketing priorities.
- Proficient in digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and social media management tools.
- An eye for photography and an intermediate understanding of editing photos.
- A Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising or any related academic discipline.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
