Position: Recruitment Coordinator


Salary range: 40,000 - 45,000 annually


Reports to: People & Culture Manager


Key Business Partners: Operations Manager, Editorial Manager, Customer Experience Manager


Minutes Solutions is a fast-growing professional minute taking company based in Toronto, Canada, that serves a global clientele. We strive to provide the highest-quality, prompt, and service-friendly minute-taking solutions and to be the preferred choice for any entity that requires professional minute taking.


We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to source and recruit an ongoing stream of viable candidates. This role's primary focus and responsibilities are to ensure that Minutes Solutions maintains a diverse pool of certified minute takers that reflect our customer's specific needs and who consistently create high-quality minutes based on our guidelines and workflows.


This role reports to the People & Culture Manager and is also responsible for sourcing, full-cycle recruitment, and any other administrative HR duties related to hiring as needed. Our ideal candidate has experience sourcing and recruiting in a friendly, upbeat, and inclusive manner. We are looking for a patient, creative thinker who values technology and wants to make an immediate impact!


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all recruitment processes and posted roles comply with federal and provincial employment law and requirements
  • Assist with HR administration and the transition from candidate to new team member as required
  • Participate in company initiatives and projects as required
  • Design strategies and use existing methods and technologies to source a steady stream of freelance contractors
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels to respond to demand throughout the year
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience for all incoming and outgoing applicants, and ensure that all communications are responded to in a timely manner
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to lend insight into ad campaigns for recruitment purposes
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process for all departments, including all candidate communications, sourcing, applicant tracking, reviewing resumes, interviewing, scheduling, contractual offers, and other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Strong and thoughtful communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with JazzHR is considered a strong asset
  • Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to point out a better way to do something or improve a process, and who isn't afraid to make decisions
  • Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
  • Steadfast resolve and a high degree of personal integrity
  • Kind and patient approach toward all incoming candidates (internal and external) with a thorough understanding of best recruitment practices
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism
  • Familiarity with federal and provincial employment law and requirements
  • Some experience in sourcing and/or full-cycle recruitment is a must-have
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
