Summary/About the opportunity:

The Product and Technology (P&T) PMO is a dynamic group that helps Ceridian deliver quality products to existing and new markets on time, every time. We provide exceptional program management support through a team of highly skilled and experienced project-, program-, and change professionals.

Primary Responsibilities/ What you’ll get to do:

The Project Coordinator with work closely with a variety of professionals on our team, to support the development and launch of new software products and services. The Project Coordinator will also assist with developing new and enhanced internal processes to further improve PMO practices, process, and tools.

A typical day could include any of the following activities:

• Liaise with Analysts, Developers, Architects, and other IT professionals to discuss work efforts and assess progress against plan
• Help facilitate internal workshops with key stakeholders
• Help create and maintain project plans and executive reporting dashboards
• Research external project- and program best practices and make recommendations for internal adoption

Qualifications/Skills and experience we value:

• Very strong written and verbal business communication skills (including comfort speaking to diverse audiences)
• Experience in IT (preferably software, HCM, ERP, SaaS, or related)
• Project Management (any field)
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science with potential interest in a career in Project- or Program Management, Business Analysis, or Business Architecture
• Experience working with IT professionals, Business Executives, external partners
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite

Nice to have: not mandatory**

• Experience with Project Management software (e.g., SmartSuite, MS Project)
• Experience working in a large, matrixed organization (preferably global)
• Experience with Atlassian software (Jira and/or Confluence)
