Purpose of the Job
The Product Delivery Intern is responsible for assisting with various duties to increase departmental efficiency without compromising service and profitability. The candidate must be able to impeccably execute their tasks in a timely and prudent manner within established guidelines.
Work Term: September 4, 2023 to December 29, 2023
The Work

• Support larger transformation projects by gathering and analyzing data to identify and solve complex problems, raise issues where appropriate and exercise discretion in managing information and all matters of confidentiality
• Conduct competitor analysis
• Work with engineers and QA to deliver features and launch experiments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product metrics, experiment data, and do self-serving data analysis to get insights
• Help coordinate product delivery
• Work directly with product managers to help improve our product and optimize for product metrics
• Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level agreement requirements for service and productivity
• Conduct User Research & collect user feedback
• Help build and review internal models, tools, processes, policies, presentations, and other related materials; challenge team and improve the underlying processes of functional area
• Make hypotheses, validate and iterate based on product experiment results
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

• Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution;
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
• A strong desire to learn about the Canadian housing market and all elements impacting the mortgage sector
• Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insights into product details;
• Highly organized, data-oriented, user-obsessed, and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring product optimized efficiently and effectively;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to respond in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Skilled at data analysis and comfortable with design and technical terms;
• Self-starter with an inquisitive mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Bachelor's or master's Degree in progress, in data analysis, marketing, software development, product development or any other relevant field

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from Equitable Bank’s additional office space located at 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON.
