Job Description
Abatement Technologies, a global company & industry leader in indoor air filtration & restoration equipment, is looking for an energetic and safety minded Office and Warehouse Coordinator (bilingual, on-site) for our Mississauga, ON location. Job Responsibilities:
  • Gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the ERP system, specifically gaining knowledge on the various modules of the system and how they interact.
  • Cold call prospective customers, typically via telephone, e-mail or social media in order to increase sales and client base and meet assigned targets and objectives.
  • Prepare customer orders for delivery, shipping or collection.
  • Become knowledgeable regarding key features and benefits of products and product groups to promote and sell products and provide application support to customers.
  • Provide back-up coverage for other members of the Mississauga team in accordance with guidelines established by the Company to ensure that customer inquiries and orders are fulfilled during PTO, business travel, other absences and emergencies.
  • Assist with timely handling and resolution of customer product complaints, including changes to purchase orders, and obtaining serial numbers and other relevant information.
  • Loading and unloading products into and from trucks using forklift or hand carts.
  • Keep warehouse area clean and tidy, product properly located and identified, aisles clean and free of clutter.
  • Coordinate with the head office to establish and set up new customer accounts, including data entry and processing of new customer credit applications. Must obtain approval for customer credit limits from the Finance department.
  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding shipping costs and delivery times where necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales and outreach projects and programs.
  • Process customer orders and payments, including walk-in customers.
  • Maintain and improve customer service by developing customer relationships and staying in contact with customers to ensure the flow of communication.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts as directed by his/her supervisor.
Education and Work Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Work experience should include a minimum of two (2) years in a B2B sales or sales support role, preferably in a related industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future sales and decision making.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Requirements include excellent sales skills and techniques, oral and written communication skills, typing and computer software skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Exhibits a high level of integrity, mutual respect, and employee teamwork at all times.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or exceeding company expectations, goals and objectives.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain accurate and detailed product and product application knowledge.
  • Experience with computers and ERP systems.
