Adecco is currently hiring for a Marketing Specialist II Strategic Insights Lead for a 12-month hybrid contract to work full-time hours for our client in TORONTO, ON.

Overall Responsibilities:

Your compelling storytelling skills, excitement for data analysis, combined with your online media and marketing knowledge shapes how new and existing businesses grow. In this unique role, you provide interesting and unique consumer and industry insights and analysis to help deliver client goals.
As a Strategic Insights Lead (SIL), you'll serve as a strategic thought partner to sales teams through data-driven storytelling and actionable insights for positive client growth and relationship outcomes. You will join a fast-paced cross-vertical team that has a front-row seat for the digital transformation underway across the top advertisers in Canada. You will have the opportunity to develop scalable, client-centered stories built with insights to position as a strategic thought leader. You will also oversee the development of high quality, end-to-end custom research in order to uncover novel and actionable ideas that optimally position product offerings and drive business strategies.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Lead consumer-focused primary research programs to unlock new growth opportunities for the vertical.
- Master knowledge and utilization of insight tools to shape compelling narratives for clients.
- Lead development of scalable vertical narratives (e.g., Retail vertical) that enable success for the team in priority areas.
- Collaborate closely with peer SILs, account teams and Heads of Industry to shape an insights calendar, prioritize client opportunities and deliver strategic goals.
- Advocate storytelling principles and high-quality visualization, enabling the vertical to elevate their customer conversations.
- Apply your analytical skills and vertical marketing knowledge to tell unique, actionable stories for clients.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with analyzing large and complex data sets.
- Stakeholder management - ability to navigate & engage demanding stakeholders, stay focused on strategic priorities, say no when necessary, etc.
- Experience managing first and third-party research and tools.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing research, analytics and/or consulting.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple stories.
- Excellent communication and story-telling skills, with ability to see granular as well as big picture issues. Experience with hypothesis-driven thinking to shape compelling client presentations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing & products.
- Excellent analytical skills. Experience using SQL, R or similar tools for forecasting or modeling is a plus.
- Applied experience or training in behavioral science. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity in consumer behavior and mindsets. Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience presenting in front of senior executives and large audiences. Experience with preparing client-ready presentations in tight time frames.
- Natural leader, with ability to act and challenge the status quo. Ability to be successful under limited or zero direction.
