My Client is an ERP and MES vendor that provides industry-specific solutions for the process industry with a focus on food processing. The Company provides its users with innovative industry software that is configurable and customized to meet the demands of the individual company.The Company was founded in 1977 in Western Germany.Since then, it has grown to more than 600 employees globally with offices in over 40 countries and is the world leader in software solutions to the Food and Beverage industry with more than 1600 companies relying on its services. The Canadian office is located in Kitchener, Ontario and works closely with its USA sister company based in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.
Position Overview:
As my Client’s Marketing Coordinator, North America, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all marketing communications projects as per the established annual marketing business plan/calendar that include, but are not limited to, special events management, trade shows, lead/prospect demand generation, marketing campaigns, promotions, advertising, creating brand awareness, content creation/implementation (i.e. press releases, white papers, articles, social media, website, etc.).
This full-time, 1-year contract position (with an option to extend) will report directly to the CEO for North America for the duration of the 1-year contract period.Business travel up to 40% required within North America and Europe for various trade shows and annual user group conference is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Office & Administrative management;
- Webinars;
- Review/editing content of Company communications;
- Management of CRM system;
- Regular collaboration and coordination with Corporate marketing team and sister companies;
- Preparation and execution of Marketing business plan and budget for Quarterly board meetings (POA);
- Tactical execution of all special events and major projects such as Annual User Group Conference (Europe) and industry trade shows (planning, organization, logistics, communication and lead management);
- Commitment to 40% business travel within North America and Europe for annual conference and trade shows, as required.
- Managing and maintaining marketing budget;
- Sales campaign management;
- Social media management;
- Newsletter set up and editing;
- Website maintenance;
- Media advertisements;
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor or Associate degree from university OR completed College Diploma in Marketing or related field (Business Administration) is required.
Work Experience/Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have most (or all) of the following:
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – with meticulous editing skills and a laser-sharp focus on every detail;
- Working knowledge and proficiency of contact management and lead generation tools (i.e. HubSpot; ZoomInfo, etc.);
- The ability to be flexible with work hours to accommodate business initiatives (i.e. trade shows, conferences, etc);
- At least 1 year of corporate event coordination experience (i.e. annual trade shows, conferences, etc.);
- Strong B2B marketing, webinars and website maintenance experience;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to pivot quickly when/as needed;
- Strong and detailed time management and organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple complex projects at the same time and meet all required deadlines;
- High proficiency in researching and creating/compiling reports and correspondence;
- Working knowledge of German language would be beneficial but is not essential.
- The ability to represent the Company professionally at all times;
- The ability to effectively respond to, and communicate with, Executives, Managers, Colleagues, external vendors/suppliers and potential / existing Clients in a timely, professional and respectful manner;
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ similar experience as a B2B Marketing Coordinator within a corporate environment or a marketing agency;
- High proficiency in creating, reviewing and editing newsletters, sales/marketing documents and other marketing content;
- Prior experience working in a similar role within the software and/or food processing industry is a definite asset;
Compensation package for the 1-year contract includes competitive base salary, benefits (after 3 month probation) and business expense/travel coverage.Laptop and phone provided for the contract period.
