Job Description
Our client is an innovative new tech company in
the telecommunication and connectivity space that is partnered
with public and private sector partners on a mission to transform
the islands of Bermuda and Cayman into the silicon valley of
the Atlantic.
As a Startup Chief of Staff, you will play a crucial role in
supporting the core leadership team in driving the strategic
direction and overall operations of the company. You will be
responsible for streamlining processes, facilitating effective
communication, and ensuring operational efficiency across
various departments within the startup. This position requires a
high level of organizational skills, strong leadership capabilities,
and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are joining at the startup stage. It's an exciting
opportunity to co-create what we believe will be a global brand.
As the Chief of Staff you are the glue, challenging the status
quo while simultaneously ensuring the sustainability of the
company's processes and initiatives. This requires someone
who has depth and breadth of experience at creating and
executing strategy while also comfortable being very tactical
and hands-on in the day to day operations.
Key responsibilities we want to understand your experience in:
Strategic Support:
Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop
and execute the company's strategic initiatives.
Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to
support decision-making processes.
Assist in the development of business plans, operational
frameworks, and performance metrics.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined
processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure effective
collaboration between departments.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide
regular reports on operational performance.
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as a liaison between the leadership team and other
teams both internal and external (such as investor
relations), facilitating effective communication and
information flow.
Coordinate and organize executive team meetings,
including agenda setting, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for
internal and external stakeholders.
Project Management:
Manage and oversee key projects, ensuring timely
completion and adherence to quality standards.
Track project milestones, identify risks, and implement
appropriate mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with team members to allocate resources
effectively and achieve project goals.
Organizational Development:
Assist in the development and implementation of
company-wide policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Contribute to talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee
development efforts.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting
collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration,
management, or a related field.MBA an asset.
Proven experience in a similar role within a startup or
high-growth organization.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the
ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable
of building relationships at all levels.
Exceptional organizational and project management
abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle
multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using project management tools,
collaboration platforms, and productivity software.
Familiarity with startup ecosystems, emerging
technologies, and industry trends.
As a Startup Chief of Staff, you will have the opportunity to
