Business Analyst II (1 Year Contract)

As a business analyst II (intermediate), you will analyze business operations, share valuable inputs to your agile team, while providing exceptional change management and creative solutions to problems.  
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for key strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do: 

• Document business processes using flow diagrams and use cases. 
• Capture business requirements and technical details from multiple stakeholders for RFP, upgrades, and development enhancements. 

• Identify gaps and risks a proposed solution has on operations. 
• Support configuration of functional workflows in business systems. 
• Analyze capabilities of business systems and leverage them to meet business needs. 
• Align business requests with the volume of change impacted business teams can manage.  
• Perform data analysis to identify patterns and prepare metrics. 

• Produce SOPs, FAQs, and job aids where needed to help business adapt to new operations. 
• Test new features for alignment with business processes, expected functionality. 
• Run UAT, End to End, Train the Trainer and Go Live sessions to support roll-out of new tech.  
• Gather end-user feedback identifying deficiencies and potential improvements. 

What we’re looking for: 

• 2+ years’ experience using Change Management techniques. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
• Experience in an agile environment. 
• 5+ years’ experience as business analyst. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. 
• IIBA certification preferred.
