Network Analyst - Contract

Akkodis is partnered with one of the leading banks here in Canada to recruit a Network Analyst to join a growing Data Centre & Cloud Network Services team.

As a Network Analyst, you will be responsible for level 3 support and project deployments, both on-premise and cloud, as you help support the team with the digital transformation of the Bank's global network. You'll support and deploy new technologies, ensuring best practices, and consult / coordinate with other technical teams to help deliver a highly resilient network infrastructure.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Help resolve complex issues in time sensitive situations to reduce system downtime and customer impact.
• You'll work with leading edge technologies to incorporate complex network solutions, as well as work with other technology teams to contribute to an overall solution.
• Aware of potential risks facing the bank and work to promote best practices.
• Reporting to a Project Manager, you will play a critical part in helping the team support the various technologies within the banks Global Network.
• Aid the team in mid to complex project deployments into production. This will include the support of assigned systems by acting as an internal consultant on assigned infrastructure and providing suggestions for viable solutions to systems problems of high complexity.
• As part of the team, you will help support the teams rotational on call duties and, when required, be a part of after-hours project deployments in the mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Ideal candidate will have a combination of the below technical skills:

• Previous exposure to largescale enterprise environments would be an asset.
• Cisco Security/VPN; ASA/FTD Firewalls, Cisco FMC
• Fortinet; FortiGate Firewalls, Forti Manager/Collector/Analyzer
• Any hands on technical working experience with Cisco ACI or similar software defined technologies would be a major asset.
• Infoblox DNS/DHCP and IPAM
• F5 LTM/GTM
• 10+ years of hands-on technical working experience in supporting, deploying and interconnecting various network technologies at an enterprise scale.
• Cisco Routing and Switching: Nexus N9K/N7K/N5K/N2K Solutions, Cisco ISR and ASR Routers, Catalyst N9K
• 7+ years of hands-on technical working experience with various Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox at an enterprise level capacity:
