Job Title

Manager, Workforce Intelligence

What is the opportunity?

Canadian Banking Operations (CBO) Workforce Management Advisory Service is hiring a Manager, Workforce Intelligence role that will lead the delivery of strategic analytics, insights, and reporting, to support the transformation of our role design and distribution model. This position will provide next-generation data delivery, with a focus on supporting strategic initiatives within Banking Operations and establishing a new standard of services that will scale into Risk Operations, and other CBO partnerships.

Please note: This is a hybrid role, where the expectation is that 3 days per week you are commuting into the office. The applicant should be ready to pivot if RBC further adjusts the number of days an employee is required to be at the office versus their eligibility to work from home.

What will you do?

  • Test and validate analyses, applying a business lens to ensure high-quality, error-free, data-driven advice.
  • Lead conversations with business partners to solicit requirements and project feedback.
  • Collaborate with key partners (e.g., Data & Analytics Centre of Expertise) from different platforms to draw data, uncover trends and changing conditions, and to tell the story to support strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation related to reporting solutions, including specifications, data lineage, technical and business definitions for metrics, and test plan/test cases.
  • Design and develop innovative capacity analytics to measure employee effectiveness and efficiency, within different design models, visualize and present insights, and support leaders in managing a rapidly evolving business.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Challenging mindset, with a desire to innovate with curiosity and purpose.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and/or general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting analytics, included advanced Excel expertise.
  • A focus on the team, and a passion for empowering and coaching to help others be their best.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate and respond to client needs.

Nice-to-have

  • Change-oriented, with demonstrated behaviours to be bold, to create client value, and win
  • Project management and/or Agile capabilities
  • University degree in a quantitative field of study (e.g., engineering, mathematics, statistics, etc.)

What’s in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.

  • Opportunities to do challenging work and take on progressively greater accountabilities.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses, flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable.
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
  • Excellent exposure to communicate with various business partners/stakeholders in CB Ops.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
