Overview A Workforce Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing employee schedules to ensure that the company’s staffing needs are met. They must be able to analyze data and create schedules that are cost-effective and efficient. They must also be able to communicate with employees and managers to ensure that the schedules are followed. Detailed Job Description The Workforce Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing employee schedules to ensure that the company’s staffing needs are met. This includes analyzing data to create cost-effective and efficient schedules, communicating with employees and managers to ensure that the schedules are followed, and making adjustments to the schedules as needed. The Workforce Scheduler must also be able to track employee attendance and hours worked, and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Job Skills Required• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to analyze data and create cost-effective and efficient schedules
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
• At least two years of experience in workforce scheduling
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of workforce scheduling principles and practices
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in workforce scheduling
• Experience in data analysis and creating cost-effective and efficient schedules
