Overview:
LVI are currently seeking a senior-level CPM Scheduler in Toronto to provide direction and exceptional leadership for all aspects of technical and managerial services. In this role, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to lead high-profile projects - including, but not limited to; construction law and litigation support, construction disputes and claims, CPM schedules relating to delay & disruption, loss of productivity, cost/damage analysis, and expert witness testimony.

The client is a fast-growing engineering and management consulting firm that specializes in the construction industry. They offer professional services in damage and delay analysis, loss of productivity and project and financial advisory.
Their clients include, construction companies, contractors and owners, insurers, and government agencies across the UK and overseas.
Requirements:
- 8+ years experience in private and public sector projects.
- Strong background using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Self-motivated leader with experience providing all levels of project planning, monitoring and analysis while working for highly diverse clients on projects covering the full spectrum of the industry.
- Forensic scheduling/cost analysis skills, as well as strong construction industry experience including planning, delays, productivity, damage and loss analysis, time impact analysis, change orders, and earned value analysis.
- B.S. Degree required (P.Eng and/or PSP license is desirable.)
- Ability to prepare a Critical Path Schedule (CPM).
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractors progress schedule as well as consulting and troubleshooting issues throughout the construction of the project.
- Monitor work execution to ensure it follows the plan.
- Independently develop new project schedules for complex projects using P6 scheduling software.
- Communicate status of schedule/budget and key risk areas to members of project management team.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and legal counsel, and participating in business development activities to grow the practice.
- Represent company and/or project in meetings with owner, A/E representatives and other contractors as required.
