Purpose
The Development & Integrations Manager is the technical expert in SAP development, integrations and the platform design architect for all SAP solutions. This position will drive technical innovations for all SAP applications through strategic planning on development & integration technologies, maintaining high-quality coding standards, and driving innovation by leveraging new SAP platforms. To be effective in this role, the person will need to foster close collaboration with other technical competencies as well as our Service Providers. This position will support mainly the Business-as-Usual landscape as well as projects when required. The position is accountable for understanding and managing our “live” SAP solutions and to optimize it to meet and/or exceed the business requirements and SAP best practices.
Accountabilities

• Communicate with stakeholders clearly in a way business resources can understand issues and/or recommendations
• Provide oversight and escalation support for all service provider platforms and development / integration operations. Ensure service provider maintains SAP platform and development / integration procedures and technical documentations for all environments.
• Provide SAP platform and development / integration standards for project teams to develop solutions that leverage SAP best practices and comply with Liberty’s architecture standards. Specifically, reduce custom development, and promote standard solutions. Ensure understanding and capabilities of new SAP technology solutions are effectively utilized at Liberty.
• Act as primary client contact leading the integration of technical aspects of Liberty’s SAP implementation
• Manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including plans, interdependencies, schedule, tools and the development & integration teams or service provider
• Maintain an inventory of all RICEFWs, details on methods of integrations, and up-to-date documentation
• Develop or revise development migration approach as requirements arise
• Collaborate with application owners to proactively manage and document the application stack
• Ensure the adoption of Liberty’s enterprise architecture and security standards when designing and implementing SAP and 3rd Party integrations (real-time or batch-based)
• Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established Liberty Standards
• Manage and develop a high performing work force – both employees and contractors
• Lead and maintain platform and development / integration strategies and roadmaps for SAP to ensure solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities.

Education and Experience

• Experience designing and implementing new SAP platforms including HANA, Fiori, and Mobile solutions for SAP
• Minimum of ten (10) years of SAP Development & Integration Implementation and Design with a minimum of five (5) SAP S4 engagements
• Developing strategic plans for a development competency center
• Managing operations for a multinational SAP S/4 implementation
• Experience designing and building solutions with PI/PO, CPI, BTP
• Experience in designing and building SAP S/4 system integration solutions
• Expert level knowledge of SAP development functionality and implementation methodology
• Must have advanced to expert level of knowledge and experience in SAP S4 development tools and concepts in many areas (BDC, BAPI, EXIT, BADI, IDOC, ALV, Web Services, MFU, SAP Gateway, OData, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, Application Form, HANA CDS views)
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of Management experience demonstrating the ability to manage both employee and contracting resources (including on-site and offshore)
• Strong project management with SAP systems implementation knowledge & skills
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Demonstrated experience in Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), PI/PO, and Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience driving SAP Platform strategy and support for a large company running a multinational SAP solution
