Job Description
Our team has an immediate 8-month co-op opening for a Researcher.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform simulations to test developed frameworks in Python or Matlab
  • Create, improve, and use ML frameworks and algorithms
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members on one or more upcoming projects involving resource management and network performance analysis for mobile communication networks


Job requirements


What you’ll bring to the team:


  • Knowledge of split learning and federated learning, understanding of wireless technologies (4G & 5G), experience in system simulations and performance analysis (e.g. communication network simulations) is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of programming in Python
  • Excellent knowledge in one of the following deep learning libraries: Tensorflow, Keras or Pytorch
  • Currently enrolled in a university co-op program in a relevant field: Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related area
  • Excellent knowledge of ML/AI with emphasis on deep reinforcement learning and neural networks
