Role overview

As the Sr. Manager, Product (Software & AI), you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our BFX solution roadmap and AI product strategy. You will lead the design and development of AI projects, manage development timelines, and build strong relationships with offshore vendors. Additionally, you will lead and inspire internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and operations of our latest solution.

Scope of duties:

Product Roadmap Development:

• Create a strategic vision for AI products and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Facilitating product design working sessions with key stakeholders.
• Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product development priorities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the AI product roadmap.

Project Leadership:

• Lead the design and development of AI and other technology projects from inception to delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to the development team.
• Ensure that AI projects meet quality standards, performance benchmarks, and compliance requirements.

Timeline and Resource Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines.
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project goals on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with offshore vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Build strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Mentor team members and provide career development opportunities.
• Sourcing and mentoring development and data science team members.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional internal teams, including developers, data scientists, and product managers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and data science.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working with offshore vendors and managing global teams.
• Track record of successfully delivering technology projects (AI project would be a bonus) on time and within budget.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in AI product development and product/project management.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $110,000 + Bonuses
