As a Manager, Product Management you will contribute to the mission of delivering innovative maintenance solutions at scale and managing a small team of Product Managers responsible for our Core platform solutions. You will help drive product strategy and partner with cross functional teams to design, shape and deliver and drive the evolution of our product. You will own the success of product features from overall alignment to specific product requirements through to delivery to market, existing customer migration and end-of-life. You are a strategic thinker, continuous learner, and active contributor with the proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions to the market who is passionate about leadership and people development.


Major Responsibilities (What You Will Do)


Our company is seeking an experienced Manager, Product Managment to lead the development and management of our B2B maintenance software. They will be responsible for driving product strategy and execution, and leading the migration to a modern platform


  • Collaborate with product marketing teams in developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Develop thought leadership through planning and participating in various community meet-ups and technical groups, fireside chats, info sessions, tech and recruiting events, etc.
  • Participate in discovery initiatives and create business proposals for new modules.
  • Proactively assist with passive and active recruitment efforts.
  • Guide and collaborate with Product Managers on customer discovery using curiosity and empathy and use that knowledge to develop a strategic roadmap that aligns to our product direction and aligns to the Rockwell company goals, creating features that our customers love.
  • Create and manage product success metrics that are easily understood and build action plans to show progress against priority metrics.
  • Responsible for managing dependencies and ensuring seamless integration of multiple modules.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, software developers, QA Engineers, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Engagement to define a vision for your product/features.
  • Lead, coach and inspire your team to create a high-performing culture where individuals can grow their careers as well as contribute to the company's success.
  • Leading Product Managers in best practices around the complete product development lifecycle in an agile environment, writing product briefs and user stories, managing priorities, and actively developing and executing against a data-driven product roadmap.
  • Work with Product Managers to gather and synthesize market, customer, technology, and competitive research to identify product enhancements and new opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead the product and customer migration to a modern platform, ensuring adoption.
  • Help drive continuous improvement in the product management practice at Fiix.
  • Effectively translate the product vision and roadmap into product initiatives, including functional needs, supported use cases/workflow constraints and success criteria.


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Technical field.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of technology stacks used in cloud-based products to thoughtfully engage with developers on technical decisions related to your product
  • An effective and strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience supporting ideas with data, and can turn internal and external feedback into valuable product requirements
  • Deep understanding of the industrial software market and trends in the area as a bonus
  • Inquisitive and curious - “How would this provide value to users?” is one of your favorite questions.
  • A user-advocate who’s looking to disrupt the market with products that drive value, delight users and align with product strategy.
  • Strong background in Product Management principles with a deep understanding of what it takes to design, build and launch B2B SaaS products that users love
  • A big picture thinker but is able to deliver on the details.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a people leadership role focused on employee growth and development.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in managing disruptive products from strategy to design and through to development in an agile environment; preferably targeted at enterprise users but with consumer-services-like interfaces.
  • Highly motivated, driven, self-starter who knows how to hit the ground running.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible - you’re as comfortable selling your product vision to leadership as you are writing product briefs and user stories.
