Reporting to the Manager of Demand Management on the Enterprise Applications (EA) team, the Applications Analyst (AA) co-op plays an important role as a liaison between the Enterprise Applications team and the broader employee base of PointClickCare. The EA team and our department, Enterprise Solutions & Applications, partner with virtually every department in the company. As a result, applicants who are customer-focused, collaborative, and self-motivated are most successful in this role. The Applications Analyst co-op will be responsible for partnering with team members and internal employees to define, document and deliver customized business solutions.
Fall Term: Sept. 5 - Dec. 22, 2023
Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and use cases into system requirements
• Participate in Subject Matter Expert (SME) discussions and feasibility analyses
• Develop and deliver training materials and technical documentation on the various business systems managed by the Enterprise Applications team
• Design, implement, and test new enhancements or solutions to drive business processes
• Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of business system performance and identify opportunities for further optimization
• Provide customization, configuration and troubleshooting support for internal departments
• Provide operational support for current business systems and request intake

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with SQL or True/False logic statements is an asset
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc. is an asset
• Working towards university degree or college diploma
• Business and/or system process analysis and design experience is an asset
• Experience in authoring process, requirements or technical documentation is an asset
