We are looking for an enthusiastic and determined individual to fill the role of Technical Analyst in our IT Department.
The IT department in TTI Canada has a multi-dimensional focus to support the TTI Canada business operationally and administratively for all its technology needs. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to learn and implement new solutions to help build a strong technology practice to enable our business to continue its rapid growth. There is a broad stream of initiatives that are underway to build our IT foundation. As the technology team continues to grow, support from a dynamic new team member will be of value to inject some creativity, bring some organization and support the IT team members in a variety of opportunities.
What You Will Do:
  • Assist with tracking and analysis of technology spend areas
  • Perform project coordination duties and assistance to help organize the IT project delivery portfolio – project planning, milestone tracking, timeline management, scope containment, risk management, issues management
  • Aid the operational technical support queues for day to day troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Collaborate with the other members of the IT team to help with weekly technical administrative activities
  • Work with various technology vendors and partners to investigate, design and implement new technologies and solutions
  • Assist in systems integration testing between Wintel and other cloud-based solutions
  • Help create dashboards and scorecards to measure technology health and track performance metrics
  • Work with IT practice verticals and subject area experts within the team to gather details and map out formal working processes
  • Conduct detailed analysis on application landscape across business areas to suggest opportunities for harmonization and optimization and in doing so learn the various streams of business that make up the TTI organization
  • Participate in technology design and deployments of a new office build – Wintel, Networking, unified communications, audio/visual technologies, digital signage technologies, client technologies
What You Will Bring:
  • Must be fully vaccinated to be considered
  • Legally authorized to work full time in Canada
  • Must currently be enrolled in a post secondary co-op program
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Visio
  • Strong mathematical skills for high level financial analysis of the IT portfolio areas of spend
  • Working knowledge of Powershell Scripting
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms with ideas on how to promote collaboration and communication in an enterprise environment, leveraging technology
  • Familiarity with iOS deployments and mobile device management nice to have
  • Networking and unified collaboration technology and solution familiarity an asset – Teams, Zoom, WebEx solutions and integrations
  • Working experience in Jira and SharePoint is an asset
  • Project Management fundamental knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to organize content and present to audiences at various levels – technical, business, leadership, senior leadership
  • Strong work and task organization skills
  • Working knowledge of Azure cloud technologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
