The Digital Services and Real Property team is looking to staff the IT Security Analyst, Monitoring (Travel Service) position.
Reporting to the Senior IT Security Analyst, the IT Security Analyst, Monitoring (Travel Service) is accountable for providing expertise and analysis to deliver timely intelligence and reporting on cyber security threats and vulnerabilities in the House of Commons. You will be part of a comprehensive IT organization which includes Architecture, Design Development and Support that will leverage your findings in building better solutions and preventing service disruptions to the members. You will provide support for the House of Commons travel service as well as entry-level IT Security services coverage for the SOC to ensure that there is always active monitoring of the House of Commons IT infrastructure for Cyber threats. This role provides 24/7 on-call support to House of Commons staff that are travelling.

- 4 weeks’ vacation (minimum)

Education:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune);
- Experience in IT support and Client Service;
- Experience with the support and troubleshooting of Apple and Android Mobile devices;
- Government of Canada Level Il Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
Assets:
- Knowledge in monitoring and/or supporting an enterprise environment;
- Knowledge of system administration and/or security operations;
- Knowledge of some of following technologies: Networking, Messaging and collaboration tools, Windows and Linux OS (Desktop and Server), Endpoint and Perimeter protection.
- Knowledge of cloud based technologies such as Microsoft Azure;
