It Manager Jobs

We're growing and our Information Technology team is looking for an experienced IT professional to take on the role of IT Manager! This position is located at our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

As the IT Manager, you will responsible for how Skyline manages, organizes, stores and accesses its information by providing database applications through analyzing all informational requirements, programming, troubleshooting and enforcing database standards while supporting our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities. This role is also responsible for overseeing our Infrastructure Team.

• Project management experience or PMO certification an asset.
• A desire to help people. You know how to facilitate troubleshooting and defect resolution with a smile on your face.
• A keen eye for detail. You've got experience picking out inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
• A subject matter expert who can collaborate with department managers regarding the communication and training of staff for new systems as well as any upgrades/enhancements.
• A stickler for proper documentation, no change is made on your watch without it!
• Helping your team grow and be their best selves is something that you thrive on.
• Minimum five (5) years relevant workplace experience or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education and three (3) years’ experience managing employees.
• An intuition to identify and anticipate system issues and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to prevent and minimize system disruption.
• Minimum two (2) to three (3) years post-secondary education in computer science, information technology or related degree/diploma.
