TalentWorld is recruiting an IT Support Coordinator in Guelph, Ontario for one of our clients.


Responsibilities


  • Take ownership of IT issues, analyzing problems, and implementing effective fixes to restore service promptly. Collaborate with MSP when required.
  • Handle internal inquiries related to personal computers, mobile equipment, and systems, diagnosing issues, and providing timely resolutions.
  • Essential Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 40 pounds and sit/stand for 8 hours
  • Support the IT Manager and Director IS/IT with administration tasks and participate in new technology investigations.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and assist in hardware and software evaluations to optimize our technology.
  • Create and maintain support documentation to empower staff in resolving incidents and service requests promptly.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service through phone, chat, and email, ensuring all employees receive efficient and appropriate assistance.


Qualifications


  • Windows Certifications (MCSA, CompTIA A+) or other desktop certifications.
  • Experience in technical support for Microsoft Office, Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Understanding of traditional and IP telephony.
  • Significant experience in customer service.
  • AEC or DEC in networks or equivalent.
  • Firm understanding of desktop hardware and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills in English.
  • Basic network understanding and troubleshooting, including VPN tunneling.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere.


Employment Details


  • Benefits: 3-Months Contract Work, On-Site Work
  • Hourly: $35.00 Hourly - $38.00 Hourly
  • Other: Career Growth, Canadian Experience, and possibility of extension.
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday (possibility of overtime)
