Job Title: Deskside/Onsite IT Support Engineer

Job Location : 1100 Gilmore Rd, Fort Erie, Ontario

Experience: At least 5+ years’

experience as onsite support engineer.

JOB PURPOSE:

The primary duty of the OSS

is to provide technical expertise & support in facilitating the smooth

running of the IT service technology platforms. OSS is responsible to assist

users in respective sites for any IT related issues/queries/concerns.

Key Responsibilities and

Accountabilities

· Proven work experience as a

Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer or similar role

· Good understanding of

computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

· Hands-on experience with

Windows/Linux/Mac OS installation, reimaging & troubleshooting

· Hands-on experience in

troubleshooting laptop, desktop, thin clients, printer, telephony hardware

issues

· Hands-on experience in

troubleshooting basic network, VPN, email (G suite, Lotus Notes, O365,

etc.)

· Ability to diagnose and

troubleshoot basic software technical issues

· Familiarity with remote

desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. Beyond trust, ServiceNow,

etc.)

· Manage hardware purchase

request & responsible for updating the computer hardware inventory

· Monitoring of incidents and

service requests in ServiceNow

· Creation of documents for

procedures

· Ability to provide

step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal (Bilingual English &

French)

· Experience working in

MFG/Lab clean rooms

· Provide support during

non-business hours (on-call) when required
