About The Opportunity


Our reputable client is looking for an IT Security Analyst to join their Ottawa team in a Hybrid. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Canada’s leading Organizations and contribute to its overall IT Security posture. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting IT Security Audits and Risk Analysis assessments. This is a 12-month contract with possibility of extension.


Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols
  • Lead various security audits including data compliance
  • Provide guidance on security best practices to back-office technologies team
  • Implement and maintain network security policies, application security, access control, and corporate data safeguards
  • Lead various security audits including data compliance
  • Develop security playbooks, and incident response training scenarios
About You


The successful candidate will have the following:


  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments
  • Post-secondary graduate in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related field. Suitable cyber security training and certification (such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT Security role
  • Significant experience with leading IT Security Audits, Implementing Controls and Risk analysis
About the Job


  • 1 Year contract, onsite 1 day per week, Start date early September.
