The incumbent serves as team lead (coordinates and provides guidance) to the CCR & Volunteerism Coordinator, Events Officer, Information and Outreach Liaison, Creative and Technical Designer and the Communications and Web Officer, and oversees and maintains the philosophy of the AC Hub, sets the pace for creating, defining and refining the culture of the space for both staff and students. Additionally, the incumbent is a subject matter expert for industry trends.
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all marketing and student-related activities and initiatives housed within the Student Services area (including the Foundation, Registrar’s Office, Student Support Services and the Office of the Vice President, Student Services). With a strong understanding of the College’s strategic marketing objectives and in collaboration with the College’s Marketing Department, the incumbent will develop and implement an Annual Marketing Plan outlining Student Services’ direction in areas including web management (content authoring, collaboration with Departments, maintenance), social media, event management (targeted student initiatives, including; Student Services events and promotional requirements).
Significant emphasis is placed on interacting with students and their influencers, ensuring those attending the College have a valuable College experience. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining a strong liaison between Student Services and the College Marketing Department
The incumbent will be required to work evenings and weekends, as required.

Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to prioritize activities within a cross-college team environment;
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Vacancy is for P02197
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail;
- Minimum of a three (3) year diploma/degree or equivalent, in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or equivalent;
- Demonstrated training in marketing;
- This position is paid at Payband Support Officer I
- Proven advanced level of experience using social media;
- Fluency with project management software desirable; advanced proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Combination of five (5) years experience with marketing, social media and web design including a minimum of 1 year in the following: Communications, Event planning, Leading/ Coordinating a team;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to adhere to strict timelines and deadlines;
- Sales/public relations experience;
