Day In The Life:
The DVP, Credit & Financial Services will be responsible for spearheading the strategy for the Credit & Financial Services business and team at Hudson’s Bay. This role will be responsible for leading and developing the Credit & Financial Services team with their leadership expertise and strategic outlook. Not only will you develop, lead, and manage your own team, but you will also collaborate and work with other stakeholders in the business and with external business partners.
This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and is an integral part of the broader Marketing team. Your ability to make strategic decisions, identify opportunities for growth, and act as a culture champion will lead you to succeed as the DVP, Credit & Financial Services
This role will actively support our DE&I framework by identifying opportunities to increase and promote diversity in our teams, products and brands. They will lead with inclusion to nurture our OneTeam culture by removing barriers for our Associates and communities.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and develop the Credit & Financial Services team to manage and maintain the various Credit, Giftcard and Financial Services that Hudson’s Bay has to offer
- Implement a plan/process for the Credit & Financial Services team to successfully execute business strategy
- Partner with all stakeholders in the business to maximize customer value
- Define a strategy to promote Hudson’s Bay’s financial products & services and maintain and enhance customer relationships
- Create budgets and manage P&L responsibility for Credit & Financial Services
- Collaborates with all relevant internal and external stakeholders for Credit & Financial Services including but not limited to Store Operations, Marketing, Finance, Digital, and IT to ensure that Hudson’s Bay credit & financial services are always kept in mind
- Maintain relationships with external business partners for Credit Card and other Financial Services products
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Ability to form strategic work relationships in a matrix organization
- Excellent leadership and team building skills; experience managing teams
- 5-8+ years of experience in Credit & Financial Services or related managerial role preferred
- MBA or other graduate degrees preferred
- Demonstrates experience in maintaining working relationships with Financial Services business partners and other relevant stakeholders
- Decisive leader who can work in a dynamic, fast paced, growing environment
