About Our Client

Our tier 1 client is seeking a professional Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning with a strong background in manufacturing/CPG/Cannabis industry. The successful candidate will report to the Director and is a pivotal role in helping the companies short and long term objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support with Ad hoc decision and analysis as needed.
• Manage different parts of the financial model, as well as discover productivity improvement opportunities to ensure that the model is fit for purpose, operational, accurate, and complete in terms of inputs, outputs, and essential variables.
• Support in the preparation of the company's annual and long-range financial planning process supported by a detailed bottoms-up financial model including P&L, cash flow, balance sheet and CAPEX projections;
• Provide monthly and quarterly management reporting of financial performance results with descriptions and analysis vs. plan and prior periods.
• Upkeep and revise business unit profitability allocation models, along with KPIs.
• Assist with annual budgeting process and receive insight from all business and team leaders.

• 3+ years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with experience in manufacturing / CPG or a senior from a public accounting firm supporting manufacturing clients.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint to create financial models and add-in functionalities to support of business initiatives.
• CPA designation is required.
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
• Detail oriented, and highly analytical to recognize key insights from complex financial models, problem solve and establish conclusions.
