As Customer Care/Tarion Coordinator you'll support and coordinate all post construction warranty services activities for Freed luxury condominium developments across the GTA. You’ll act as the first point of contact for homeowners, from post-purchase through to post- warranty periods, through providing exceptional customer service. The Coordinator In this role your home base is located at our beautiful Freed Office in King West, Toronto. It is expected you will travel to GTA sites as required.
As Customer Care/Tarion Coordinator you will:
- Maintain, and organize client and Tarion files.
- Coordinate and manage follow up homeowner satisfaction with completed work and update homeowners on outstanding work and explain maintenance and warranty coverage.
- Written correspondence to homeowners (Critical dates to be sent in accordance with Tarion guidelines).
- Schedule Pre-Delivery Inspection appointments.
- Research homeowner inquiries or concerns from start to resolution.
- Coordinate with the sales, back-office, and design teams to answer all suite owner inquiries pre and post construction.
- Manage and maintain all documentation of lists including signoffs and updating in system and maintaining all warranty service requests in the system.
- Prepare home buyer welcoming packages and other info materials.
- Respond to homeowner inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update all spreadsheets and data as requested.
- Answer all telephone calls and respond to homeowner telephone inquiries, includes taking detailed messages and distributing to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure homeowners are informed on the status of their home by completing ongoing touchpoints at designated times.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prepare turnover occupancy packages for homeowners upon closing.
Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- 3 years’ progressive related experience in a high volume or fast paced environment is required.
- Exceptional communication skills required, verbal and written.
- Tech savvy with Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of Tarion’s Warranty process and guidelines, OBC (Ontario Building Code) and CPG (Construction Performance Guidelines)
- Experience with new home warranty and service or other relevant experience in the residential building industry.
- Degree/diploma in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Highly organized, detail/task-oriented, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Bluebeam or Google Sketchup, an asset.
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude.
