Raincoast Marketing is a Canadian boutique agency based in downtown Vancouver that provides administrative, management, digital marketing, corporate development, and investor relations services to public companies, including mineral resource and exploration companies, throughout North America.
This is a full-time, remote position. The successful candidate will report to the Founder of Raincoast. The successful candidate will have a strong graphic design portfolio. Video editing is a valuable asset.
Responsibilities
• Being the primary point of contact for the client portfolio;
• organizing conferences and road shows;
• organizing a social media content calendar for each client;
• Disseminate news releases and email broadcasts;
• updating the websites, summary sheets and all corporate materials;
• assisting in the writing of media articles, news releases;
• Creative design work for marketing materials;
• providing assistance to the Founder of Raincoast Marketing
• performing other duties as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a university degree in marketing or communications and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the public company sector. Prospective candidates should be able to adapt to a variety of tasks and be willing to take on new challenges. Ability to work effectively in both an independent and team environment are a must. Candidates must have excellent communication (both verbal and written) and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Multiple language skills, both written and spoken are an asset. The work will be dynamic involving a wide variety of responsibilities and duties, some of which are noted below.
