Commercial Business Development Manager

FirstOnSite Restoration is currently seeking to fill the role of a Commercial Business Development Manager for the Calgary area.

Position Summary The Business Development Manager generates increased revenue through direct contact with new and existing clients in the assigned territory. An equally important function is to develop client relationships through continuous engagement to become a trusted partner and preferred contractor for property restoration needs with a primary focus on commercial end-user clients (property owners and managers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow existing assigned accounts in the region.
• Submit business development reports at the direction of management.
• Work with senior management to develop and successfully execute an Annual Sales and Marketing Plan for the territory focused on commercial end-user clients.
• Keep abreast of changes within the industry including customers and competition.
• Ensure that the expectations of your assigned clients are communicated throughout the organization, and are satisfactorily met and exceeded.
• Develop and implement a client engagement plan, which includes regular meetings and communication with all assigned accounts, both existing and new prospects.

• Critical thinking to align First Onsite services to client needs.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Excels in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and adjust to multiple demands & shifting priorities.

Experience and Education:

• A working knowledge of property insurance, building construction, or restoration is preferred.
• Minimum five years of work experience in a field sales or related operational role.
• Well-networked in the property, and/or facility management industry.
• Strong knowledge as a user of Microsoft Office Suite
